Pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly is going to be the first tenant at Manhattan’s Alexandria Center for Science and Technology at East River Science Park, the company announced during a lease signing event. The new science park, located next to the NYU Langone Medical Center at 560 First Avenue at 33rd Street, will also house ImClone’s Research Division, which is owned by Eli Lilly, the company said in a press release. However, ImClone’s manufacturing, development, and administrative operations will remain based in Branchburg, NJ. East River Science Park is part of Mayor Bloomberg’s initiative to further the city’s involvement in bioscience research. TRD
