In Tribeca, David Bouley’s long-awaited Japanese restaurant, Brushstroke, appears to be on its way to an opening in the former Secession and Danube space at 30 Hudson Street.
The Bowery Bazaar is coming to the Bowery between Third and Fourth streets. A liquor license is pending at Heartbreak Café, a German and Swiss restaurant that is slated to open at Second Avenue and Second Street. Victoria’s Secret will soon open a store in Soho, where Lounge and Eastern Mountain Sports used to be. Friday marked the last day of the Big Gay Ice Cream Truck’s season at 17th Street and Broadway, signaling the end of summer for many fans. Casa Lever opened to the public this afternoon on Park Avenue and 54th Street. Shoe Woo opened on the corner of 59th Street and Lexington Avenue.
