One of the few single-family homes on Riverside Drive — outfitted with nine bathrooms — went on the market today for $20 million.
Located at 40 Riverside Drive, the six-story home is listed with Corcoran’s Deanna Kory and Meghan Kelly. Perched at the corner of Riverside Drive and 76th Street, the asymmetrical mansion straddles the intersection of the two streets with a four-story turret.
The 10,000-square-foot home was built at the end of the 19th century by Clarence True, who designed some 270 houses on the Upper West Side, the listing says. The Elizabethan Renaissance Revival townhouse was previously a co-op divided into several apartments, according to PropertyShark.com. But it’s now being marketed as a single-family residence with nine bedrooms, nine bathrooms and six working fireplaces.
It also features an outdoor circular terrace and a double-tiered roof deck with river views.
Kory and Kelly could not immediately be reached for comment.
