A collection of pricey properties owned by a 104-year-old multi-millionaire heiress is in limbo, according to the Manhattan district attorney’s office, after it was discovered that the bed-ridden Huguette Clark has no living will. Clark, who hasn’t been seen at her 42-room spread at 907 Fifth Avenue since she was hospitalized roughly 20 years ago is worth upwards of $500 million. The DA’s office says it suspects her wealth may be subject to massive mismanagement. Attorney Wallace Bock and accountant Irving Kamsler — who are in charge of her assets, which include a $24 million, 52-acre Connecticut estate — insist that Clark is alive and well. It is not immediately clear who her next of kin is. [Post]
