“The Rachael Ray Show” and NewportNJ.com are giving away a one-year stay in a luxury one-bedroom apartment in the Southampton at Newport, one of the high-rise towers in the LeFrak Organization’s Jersey City waterfront community, to one randomly chosen lottery contestant. The winner will have his or her pick of three apartments furnished by one of HGTV’s designers — John Gidding from “Curb Appeal: The Block,” Lisa LaPorta from “Designed to Sell” or Taniya Nayak from “Destination Design” — who designed the homes to appeal to either empty nesters, single parents or twenty-somethings.
