This week was a whirlwind of shindigs for The Real Deal. We partied down with New York Commercial Real Estate Women, Fox Residential, Platinum Properties and Core. Oh, and a certain big guy at The Real Deal also rubbed shoulders with real estate pros and celebrities at the New York premiere of “Little Fockers.” Read on and check out the slide show above to see just how we celebrated the holidays this week.

Fox Residential’s holiday party, at company president Barbara Fox’s Upper East Side home

– Lots of real estate bigwigs were in attendance, including Sotheby’s International Realty’s Roger Erickson, REBNY president Steven Spinola, Prudential Douglas Elliman’s Jacky Teplitzky, and Gumley Haft Kleier mother-daughters trio Michele Kleier, Sabrina Kleier Morgenstern and Samantha Kleier Forbes.

– Teplitzky told us that her Elliman team has major restructuring plans in the works for 2011.

– Joanna Simon, vice president of Fox and sister of famed singer Carly Simon, told us that her favorite building in New York City is the UN Plaza in Midtown East — where she lives!

– Faith Hope Consolo, chairperson of retail sales and leasing for Prudential Douglas Elliman and recently appointed NYCREW communications director, gaveThe Real Deal a shout-out during the evening’s opening remarks. She told us later that more “self-gifting” among retail shoppers is happening this holiday season. “It’s a very European thing,” she added.

– Christine Chipunoi, a senior vice president with Wells Fargo in real estate construction, told The Real Deal that green building is in style. She refers to the green hotel trend as the new “keeping up with the Joneses.”

Platinum Properties five-year company anniversary party, at 75 Wall Street-Andaz

– Khashy Eyn, president and CEO of Platinum, said he predicts a booming year for residential activity in Midtown West in 2011, but said he’s not quite so confident about Harlem, due to over-development, he said.

– COO Dezireh Eyn, spilled the beans on growing up with her brother, Khashy. She says there were plenty of boys who were too scared to pick her up for dates because they knew Khashy had her back.

Core’s 141 Fifth Avenue penthouse holiday event

– Shaun Osher was missing in action. Word is that he was babysitting his kids, while wife Lauren DeFranco, a reporter for WABC-TV on Long Island, was covering the recent string of Jones Beach-area murders.

– Brittley Jarrell, chief strategy officer with Core, said the Flatiron District is growing in popularity among “empty-nesters.”

The New York Premiere of “Little Fockers,” at the Ziegfeld Theater

– Publisher Amir Korangy hit up the feature film premiere, where real estate pros Elliman’s Dottie Herman, Rudin Management’s Bill Rudin, Jonathan Tisch of Loews Hotels and SL Green’s Marc Holliday were all in attendance.

– Prudential Douglas Elliman’s Raphael De Niro was also on hand to support father Robert De Niro, who stars in the movie.

– In attendance: famed NBC newscaster Tom Brokaw and Antonio Perez president of the Borough of Manhattan Community College.
