Trump to earn $160M for two more years of “The Celebrity Apprentice”

While his presidential campaign may never have been serious, it turned into a successful negotiating ploy for Donald Trump. According to the New York Post, the real estate mogul is getting a raise for two more years of his NBC reality show, “The Celebrity Apprentice” and along with his co-producer will be paid $160 million. He will personally pocket $65 million per annum (with his co-producer Mark Burnett, earning the remainder), more than reality TV’s other top earners, the Kardashians and the “American Idol” judges. In fact, Fox never paid former lead judge Simon Cowell more than $45 million, according to the Post. The franchise is entering its 11th season in March, and has deals lined up with Procter & Gamble and General Motors. Meanwhile, Trump was in Scotland yesterday, promoting his pan to build a new golf course. [Post]
