With a new office and new hires seemingly every day, Keller Williams NYC has been expanding its operations within Manhattan. But the Ilan Bracha-led firm’s reach has gone as far as Italy.

Forbes reported that the brokerage recently picked up a 46,620-square-foot Medieval Tuscan mansion complete with restored frescoes and terracotta floors that’s asking €38 million, or about $53 million. The estate, located in Torrita di Siena, also has 74 acres of grape and olive vineyards and an operating winery that produces about 110,000 bottles of wine a year.

Apparently, the owners are seeking a wealthy North American buyer, after they experienced undisclosed issues with local Italian brokers and failed at attempts to land a Russian billionaire.

“With Keller Williams, we have a very large network throughout the States and in Canada so that’s my primary target,” said Richard Tayar, director of Italian property services at Keller Williams and the exclusive listing agent of the Tuscan estate. Tayar hails from Florence and joined the New York City office specifically to cater to Italian buyers (note: correction appended). [Forbes]
