Priciest, cheapest units to hit the market

The priciest home to hit the market in Manhattan this week is an Upper East Side townhouse at 19 East 82nd Street. The five-story, 11,000-square-foot home, between Fifth and Madison avenues, has five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, three half-bathrooms and a courtyard. The space formerly housed the popular Adelson Galleries, which will move to a new space in the same neighborhood, though specific details remain undisclosed, according to the gallery’s website. Nick Judson at Judson Realty has the listing for an asking price of $34.8 million, according to data from Streeteasy.com.

The second most expensive apartment is a five-bedroom co-op located at 998 Fifth Avenue on the Upper East Side, between 81st and 82nd streets. The 5,000-square-foot Italian renaissance-style space also has five bathrooms and fourteen-foot-high ceilings. Cornelia Zagat Eland and Emily Hanna at Stribling have the listing, which is priced at $22 million.

The third priciest unit is a full-floor condominium unit located two blocks south of the previous listing at 988 Fifth Avenue on the Upper East Side. The 3,500-square-foot apartment, on the corner of 80th Street, houses four bedrooms and five bathrooms. Marcy Grau at Stribling has the listing with an asking price of $22 million.

The cheapest unit to hit the market this week is a Lincoln Square studio apartment located at 155 West 66th Street between Columbus and Amsterdam avenues on the Upper West Side. The apartment contains one bathroom and brand new furnishings in its 610 square feet of space, according to the listing. Dan Bamberger from Citi Habitats is marketing the apartment for an asking price of $120,000.

The second least expensive unit is at 505 West 143rd Street in Hamilton Heights between Broadway and Hamilton Place. The apartment is in a co-op, has two bedrooms, one bathroom, and 950 square feet of space. Don Moses from Exit Realty Landmark has the listing, which is asking $130,000.

The third cheapest apartment is a Central Harlem pre-war co-op unit at 128 West 138th Street, between Lenox Avenue and Adam Clayton Powell Jr Boulevard. The 600-square-foot condo has one bedroom and one bathroom, the latter of which has been recently renovated.
