Huguette Clark’s most mysterious home to hit market

A collection of co-op apartments previously owned by the late copper heiress Huguette Clark and lived in, at least partly, by her dolls, will soon hit the market, the New York Post reported.

Mary Rutherfurd, a senior vice president and managing director at Brown Harris Stevens, will market the two unconnected units on the eighth floor and then another on the top floor, together dubbed New York City’s most mysterious home, at 907 Fifth Avenue at 72nd Street. All together they contain 42 rooms and span 17,000 square feet. Clark was living in hospitals for the last 20 years of her life before dying last year at age 104; at least one apartment housed her doll collection.

Sources to the Post say the property is worth an estimated $45 million to $60 million. There are three unconnected apartments inside, two of which are on the building’s eighth floor. The pads on the eighth floor, the Post said, could earn between $20 million and $35 million. If combined, they would be worth more. [Post, 1st item]
