Five of the 32 apartments located inside the Brentmore at 88 Central Park West, near 69th Street, are now on the market or will soon hit the block — marking a change inside the 102-year-old building that has catered to celebrities and the new-money crowd. A recent addition to the market that came online yesterday is an apartment located in between Robert De Niro’s unit and that of the late Academy Award-winner Celeste Holm, the Wall Street Journal reported.

The unit’s owner is Rona Forstadt, a daughter the one-time head of the William Morris talent agency Nat Lefkowitz.

Kirk Henckels and Jennifer Callahan at Stribling have the listing for Forstadt’s duplex home, which has an asking price of $14.5 million. The unit has a 32-foot-wide living room, three bedrooms, three bathrooms and, according to the listing, views of the Thanksgiving Day parade that put viewers “nose to nose with Snoopy.”

John Burger at Brown Harris Stevens has the listings for two other homes inside the building: a three-bedroom with an asking price of just under $10 million and a six-bedroom, six-bathroom combination listing with a $19.5 million ask.

The Journal also noted that one owner in the building was selling after purchasing a larger unit on a higher floor last year.

Holm’s apartment, the subject of a legal battle, will hit the market in the coming weeks. Austin Schuster at Sotheby’s is working on listing this home and told the Journal that an asking price has not been set. [WSJ]
