Michael Lorber appears to be house hunting in Philadelphia. The Douglas Elliman broker and former star of Bravo TV’s “Million Dollar Listing New York” was recently scoping out properties on the Main Line, an affluent cluster of towns in Philadelphia’s western suburbs, a source told Curbed.

Lorber is apparently looking for an investment property in the area and was taken with an eight-bedroom house in Bryn Mawr. The 11,873-square foot home, designed by architect Walter Durham, is listed for almost $5 million and features three fireplaces, a pool and 5.8 acres of outdoor space.

Lorber, who is the son of Elliman chairman Howard Lorber, already owns a growing collection of homes. In May, he closed on a $1.3 million Palm Beach house. “I own homes in Nantucket, Boston and New York,” Lorber told The Real Deal at the time. “I hope to spend holidays there.”

Without his television duties, Lorber may have more time to spend in his various homes. In the upcoming second season of “Million Dollar Listing,” Lorber will be replaced by Luis D. Ortiz, a recent hire for Keller Williams NYC, as The Real Deal reported. Lorber said he had been given the chance to continue his role in the series. [Curbed] —Leigh Kamping-Carder
