A five-story commercial property located Downtown erupted in flames twice in the past two days, the New York Daily News reported. A three-alarm fire tore through the 11,248-square-foot building early this morning, which left one firefighter with minor injuries. That blaze followed a four-alarm fire that began Sunday morning, leaving three firefighters with minor injuries.

The building — at 140 Fulton Street — was otherwise unoccupied during the two fires. Fulton Associates LLC owns the building, public records show.

The cause of Sunday’s fire, as well as its role in the subsequent blaze, is under investigation.

This morning’s fire sparked on the second and third floors before spreading upward. The fire broke out just before 2 a.m. and was brought under control after 5 a.m. [NYDN]Zachary Kussin

This was no accident. This is arosn. No one has 8 fires. This clearly requires further investigation where the Gindi’s and their lawyer don’t have a chance to pay off City inspectors. Very clearly the Dept of Investigations needs to step in when this is Century Realty’s own offices.

They just destroyed all their records. Given the extent of fraud with this family the feds need to swoop in. This is remiscent of the Rabbi scandal in New Jersey with this family.
