Black House bringing luxury condo project to West Chelsea

UPDATED, 10:45 a.m., May 24: A partnership between Black House Development and Oriel is bringing an 11-story, 27-unit luxury condominium building to West Chelsea, according to Department of Buildings permits spotted by BuzzBuzzHome.

The proposed building at 522 West 29th Street will be designed by SCDA Architects and would replace a two-story commercial structure currently at the site.

The residences will include private soaking pools and double-height living spaces, according to the site of Montroy Andersen DeMarco, the architect of record. There will also be storage on the cellar level. [BuzzBuzzHome]  – Hiten Samtani

CORRECTION: A previous version of this article said that the site was being developed by Victor Homes. Black House purchased the site from Victor in 2012 and is responsible for the development plans.
