Priciest, cheapest units to hit the market

Reid Price and Bruce Ehrmann of Douglas Elliman have the priciest single-family listing to hit the Manhattan market this week, according to StreetEasy. The property has an asking price of $20 million. Located at 71 Laight Street in Tribeca, this penthouse has an open-plan loft layout, terraces and fireplaces. These amenities come in addition to 17 rooms, including four bedrooms and five baths.

The next priciest listing is for a twelve-room townhouse, located on the Upper West Side at 41 West 74th Street. This home, listed by Shane Shimon, Vince Rocco and Mithlesh Kush at Blu Realty, has a $19 million ask, and comes with five bedrooms, five full en-suite baths and five additional half-baths. There is also a gym, library, wine cellar and a landscaped top floor with a hot tub.

This week’s third-priciest listing is across the park at 11 East 68th Street on the Upper East Side. Listed by Madeline Hult Elghanayan of Elliman, the nine-room condo has an asking price of $18 million and features nine rooms, five bedrooms, five baths and five half-baths. A double-sided wood-burning fireplace, sculpted in Travertine marble, adjoins the corner dining room, while the master suite includes a bath with onyx walls, a freestanding soaking tub and separate glass shower.

Fred Kato at Furumoto Realty has this week’s cheapest listing, priced at $165,000, for a top-floor studio co-op at 70 Park Terrace East. The Inwood property features finished hardwood floors and new appliances.

The week’s second least expensive listing is at 295 Bennett Avenue in Hudson Heights. The one-room studio co-op has an asking price of $199,000 and is listed by Fumiyo Hayashi at Corcoran. The completely renovated unit comes with 10-foot high ceilings, crown molding and cherry cabinetry with granite counter tops.

The next-cheapest home can be found just down the street at 120 Bennett Avenue in Fort George. This three-room, one-bedroom co-op is listed by Jennifer Pasbjerg at Halstead Property and has an ask of $259,000. The property includes high ceilings and hardwood floors throughout, according to the listing. –Julie Strickland
