After two years on the market and a hefty price cut, celebrity chef and television personality Emeril Lagasse has finally sold his Upper East Side townhouse for $11.5 million – the same price he paid for the property back in 2009. Lagasse had originally listed the six-story, Georgian-inspired, five-bedroom house for $15 million.

As The Real Deal previously reported, Lagasse slashed his asking price down to $13.5 million back in March 2012, before finally accepting this year’s offer for $2 million less. The buyer is 158 Lex, an entity with an address registered at 21 Englehard Drive, Monroe Township, N. J., the headquarters of a company called Digital Gadgets, according to the New York Observer.
