Popular New York City retailer Ricky’s has signed two short-term leases totaling 12,000 square feet on Park Row for a festival gifts store and a beauty products store, respectively.

Ricky’s has already opened its Halloween store at 33 Park Row, which will offer Christmas and Hanukkah gifts later in the year, sources told the New York Post. It will also soon open a Beauty Bazaar concept store at 34 Park Row on the corner of Beekman Street, according to the newspaper.

Ricky’s was represented by Winick Realty Group’s Alexander Hill in the deal with the landlord, who previously rented to J&R Music. The newspaper did not provide a comment from Hill, but Ricky’s president Richard Parrott told the Post that the beauty store would be “six floors of fashion and beauty wonderland.”

In July, Ricky’s founder Todd Kenig sold his Upper West Side co-op unit at the Harmony building, as The Real Deal reported.  [NYP]  – Hiten Samtani
