Two luxury residential buildings are set to sprout on 35th Street between Ninth and 10th avenues.

Located at 411-421 West 35th Street and 445 West 35th Street, the buildings will be designed by Ariel Aufgang and built by Joy Construction, BuzzBuzzHome reported. The former is on a Lincoln Tunnel-adjacent corner lot that is currently used as parking, and will include 187 luxury rentals. Construction is slated to begin this month.

The first building will also include underground parking, bicycle storage and 14,586 square feet of commercial space.

Building number two, which will be across from the entrance to the Lincoln Tunnel, at 445 West 35th Street, will be a 12-story, 125-unit structure, according to the plan exam, cited by BuzzBuzzHome. Residential space will total 92,469 square feet and there will be 4,920 square feet of commercial space. It was not yet clear if the apartments would be rentals or condominiums. [BuzzBuzzHome]Julie Strickland
