A trendy Upper East Side sushi joint is expanding to Chelsea.
Sushi Seki, which opened at 1143 First Avenue in 2002 and has won over the likes of Daniel Boulud and Gordon Ramsay, will open at 208 West 23rd Street.
Sushi Seki will take over the former space of R.U.B. BBQ, the New York Post reported. The building is also home to the Gotham Comedy Club. The new restaurant can accommodate 68 diners, according to the newspaper. [NYP, 1st item] – Hiten Samtani
