WEEKENDEDITION Elizabeth Hazan, the alleged Upper East Side “squatter” who was booted from 1 East 62nd Street by a lawsuit with comedienne Joan Rivers, may now lose the property altogether.

Hazan, a French Canadian, is being sued by Chris Kosachuk, the man who sold her a $5 million home in Miami’s tony Fisher Island neighborhood in 2007, according to the New York Daily News.

Papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court Friday claim that Hazan has not paid some $2 million on her mortgage and Kosachuk is asking for permission to seize her Upper East Side condo to satisfy the debt.

Hazan is currently barred from 1 East 62nd Street, where Rivers is the board president, after failing to pay some $200,000 in back fees. [NYDN]-Christopher Cameron
