WEEKENDEDITION The West Village’s iconic Twin Peaks building – not named for the David Lynch television series – has entered contract after spending eight months on the market.

Twin Peaks, which is located at 102 Bedford Street between Christopher and Grove streets, was built in 1832. In 1925, Clifford Reed Daily purchased the building and its interior was transformed into what it is today. It was also converted into 10 artist studios.

Cary Grant, Miles Davis, Walt Disney and the actor Douglas Fairbanks, Jr. are all said to have stayed in the building.

And as The Real Deal previously reported, both Debi Mazar, an actress who played Shauna Roberts on the television show “Entourage” and was a contestant on “Dancing with the Stars,” and Kenny White, a singer-songwriter, have bought in the building.

Since then, the townhouse had been converted back to a single-family home asking $6.85 million. Douglas Elliman’s Rafael Malka and David Hubschman had the listing. [Curbed]Christopher Cameron
