A weathered, seven-story mansion in Midtown East with eight wood-burning fireplaces has hit the market for $50 million.

The 11,500-square-foot home at 29 Beekman Place, between East 50th and East 51st streets, holds 15 rooms. CBS founder William Paley and health activist Mary Lasker previously resided there. Wansdown Properties is the latest owner. Brown Harris Stevens broker Avideh Ghaffari has the listing.

The property was constructed in 1910 and extensively renovated in 1996. [Curbed]Mark Maurer
