Plans were filed today to develop a new 21-story building with 95,355 square feet in the Hudson Yards district, according to city Department of Buildings records. Based on the plans, the hotel would appear to cater to out-of-towners: documents propose a structure with 240 hotel rooms.

PropertyShark shows a 4,150-square-foot, four-story building currently sits on the site, located at 432-434 West 31st Street at Dyer Avenue. It has three residential units and one commercial unit. No demolition request has been filed yet, according to the building’s DOB filings.

Arisa Realty — listed as the site owner — purchased the plot for $11 million in August, according to property records.

Neill Parker, a principal at Stonehill & Taylor, is listed as the architect of record. Neither he nor Arisa principal Mordy Lipkis immediately responded to messages seeking confirmation and comment.

The filing comes in the wake of one submitted last week for another proposed hotel located in the same area, as The Real Deal reported. The Chetrit Group and Cornell Realty pitched a plan for a mixed-use building at 245-247 West 34th Street, featuring 108 hotel rooms and 8,257 square feet of commercial space.
