A duplex co-op that was once actor and director Robert Redford’s home away from home on the Upper East Side has hit the market for $1.395 million.

Redford used the one-bedroom apartment at 47 East 67th Street, between Madison and Park avenues, as a pied-à-terre in the 1980s, a decade during which he starred in the romantic drama “Out of Africa.” The space, which last sold for $965,000 in 2006, features a double-height ceiling in the living room, a wood-burning fireplace and a renovated chef’s kitchen.

Redford’s most recent real estate move in the tri-state area is planned a $150 million multi-screen movie theater, slated to open its doors in Westchester County’s Dobbs Ferry by this spring. The eight-screen theater, the first Sundance Cinemas complex in the eastern U.S., will be the entertainment hub of the long awaited mixed-use complex from Armonk, N.Y.-based Saber Real Estate Advisors and will include 233 luxury rental units, a 120-room hotel, five restaurants, up to 20 retailers and parking for 1,000 cars, located on Lawrence Street and the Saw Mill River Parkway.
