Public education advocate Lisa Belzberg, founder of nonprofit PENCIL, has listed her five-story townhouse at 121 West 81st Street for $12 million.

The six-bedroom pad features a garden, fireplaces, library and full-floor master suite with a private terrace, according to Curbed. A 20-foot wall of windows also looks out onto the garden, while original details in the home, built in 1900, are preserved.

Brown Harris Stevens’ Norah Burden has the listing. [Curbed]Julie Strickland

Ha. Whenever I read an architectural article showing some multi-million $ prop owned by a 40-something “interior designer” with dogs I immediately think that.

She also happens to be the daughter of one of the wealthiest families in Canada and is the ex-wife of the son of the actual wealthiest family in Canada. I don’t think “nonprofit” boss does any justice to the truth.
