Glenwood purchased the site from Fordham University in early 2011 for $125 million, as The Real Deal reported at the time. In total, Glenwood was able to build as-of-right on the parcel to a total of 409,889 square feet, per an agreement signed between the developer and Fordham. Glenwood followed that deal with the purchase of a second vacant development site at Nearby 165 West 60th Street, between Ninth and Amsterdam avenues, for $75 million in October 2011.
