WEEKENDEDITION Now you can have the Miami Beach experience without ever leaving Brooklyn. A 17,000-square-foot private oceanfront home, designed in the style of South Beach’s iconic deco buildings, has hit the market asking $8 million in Manhattan Beach. 

The unique three-story home features an infinity pool, a Miami-style cabana, a gazebo and a full bar and barbeque, according to the New York Daily News.

“Wherever you’re sitting you can see the ocean. In the far distance, you can even see the Jersey Shore,” listing broker Ariel Tirosh of Douglas Elliman said. “This is not what you think of when you think of Brooklyn.”

The home, located at 296 West End Avenue, was put on the market for a couple of weeks back in 2012, but was forced to be delisted because of damage sustained during Hurricane Sandy, according to Tirosh. [NYDN]Christopher Cameron
