A five-bedroom, 7,800-square-foot townhouse referred to in listings as “Versailles in Manhattan” is back on the market with a new broker. The mansion at 163 East 64th Street is asking $27.5 million, the same price for which it was listed last year with Michelle Evi Bourgeois of Town Residential. Thomas DiDomenico of the Corcoran Group now has the listing.

Kenneth Laub, a commercial broker who handled deals for Bear Sterns and Hess Oil, owns the property and began looking to sell it in 2008, for $35 million. The asking price was then chopped to $29.5 million and then $24.95 million, as previously reported.
