A Hamptons estate once owned by author Truman Capote is being sold for $14 million.
The home at 683 Daniels Lane in Sagaponack is in contract for the full $13.99 million asking price, the New York Post reported. Capote sold the two-story home in the 1990s for $800,000 to artist Ross Bleckner.
At the time Bleckner bought four-bedroom home, it was falling apart. Since then, the 5,000-square-foot house has undergone two extensive renovations.
In an interview from the 1970s, Capote described Sagaponack as “Kansas with a sea breeze,” and he reportedly loved to write there.
