Steepest, cheapest listings to hit Manhattan this week

On the high end: A 96-bottle wine refrigerator. On the low: Could accommodate furnishings.

Douglas Elliman’s Tal Alexander and Oren Alexander had the priciest single-family residential listing to hit the Manhattan market this week with a $25 million condominium at 1 Central Park SouthThe Plaza Hotel. The 4,413-square-foot maisonette, which is accessed by a private elevator or a grand staircase off the landmarked private residential lobby, boasts four bedrooms and Central Park views. The sunken living room has 12-foot ceilings, and the property also includes a formal dining room and custom eat-in kitchen.

Second on the pricey end this week is a $13.8 million five-bedroom condominium at 641 Fifth Avenue in Midtown. The luxury residence at the Olympic Tower, made up of three apartment units that were combined several years ago, measures 4,400 square feet in total. The home features a living space that combines a living room, formal dining room and open kitchen, and includes several walk-in closes and panoramic city views. Elliman’s Eva Penson has the listing.

Third most expensive this week is a $13.5 million loft-style condo at 28 Laight Street in Tribeca. The unit is topped with wood-beamed ceilings and features sound-proof steel casement windows, as well as oak flooring and exposed brick walls. The living area is equipped with a gas fireplace and custom bar with a 96-bottle wine refrigerator, and the master bedroom suite boasts walk-in closets, a spa bath with steam shower, jacuzzi and a double sink. The cheapest unit to hit the market this week is a $170,000 two-room studio co-op at 301 East 63rd Street in Lenox Hill. The south-facing pad boasts a separate kitchen and a living space “which could easily accommodate full furnishings,” according to the listing. Building amenities, meanwhile, include a 24-hour doorman, renovated lobby, rooftop deck, indoor parking garage, storage, bike room and laundry room. Second on the inexpensive end this week is a $199,000 restricted-sale two-bedroom co-op at 214 Bradhurst Avenue in Central Harlem. The renovated home is lined with hardwood floors and features wood cabinets. TJ Linen of Esra Realty has the listing.

Third cheapest this week is a $239,000 one-bedroom condominium at 581 Academy Street in Inwood. The recently-renovated kitchen boasts granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances, while the bathroom has been updated with a pedestal sink.
