Building at 210 Pacific Street will feature solar hot water and tripled-glazed windows

A new residential building at 210 Pacific Street in Boerum Hill will use passive house design.

The Nava Companies development is slated to house 10 apartments, each averaging more than 2,100 square feet, according to New York YIMBY. The unit will have direct elevator access as well as a private landscaped terrace.

A passive house is designed to meet rigorous standards for energy efficiency.

According to the developer’s website, 210 Pacific Street “incorporates the Passive House approach to sustainability and anticipates full certification. Solar hot water, extensive insulation and triple glazed windows all contribute to an extremely efficient living environment.”
