C3D Architecture released renderings for a hotel project in Midtown West that has been in the works for some time.

Landlord Frank Caselli of Pancas Restaurant Inc. has owned the five-story mixed-use property at 47-49 West 55th Street, between Fifth and Sixth avenues, for more than 30 years, according to property records. The hotel is slated to rise 135 feet and hold 75 rooms.

Drawings have been filed with the city’s Department of Buildings, New York YIMBY reported. Groundwork is expected to begin on the 13-story hotel soon. [NY YIMBY]Mark Maurer
