The Sterling Mason condos at 71 Laight Street in Tribeca have been in the works for years – since 2008 to be exact. But now the project is finally moving toward completion.

The 32-unit Morris Adjmi-designed building is divided into two sections: an existing 1906 brick warehouse and a metallic new portion. According to Curbed, the building is due this year.

In July 2014, The Real Deal reported that Taconic Investment Partners unloaded the second of three penthouse units at the condo development for the full asking price of $23 million. The building’s first penthouse, dubbed Penthouse A, sold in October 2013 for $21 million, or $4,565 per square foot. [Curbed]Christopher Cameron
