Billy McFarland, the founder of a swanky membership card, is being sued for damaging his West Village pad during raucous parties.

The 23-year-old New Jersey native launched his startup, Magnises, and had planned to just use the duplex at a townhouse at 22 Greenwich Avenue for residential purposes, a new suit claims, according to the New York Post. Instead, the landlord is now suing him for $100,000 in damages, according to the newspaper, as well as three months of repairs. McFarland responded that the allegations in the suit were “not valid,” the newspaper reported.

Magnises aims to offer its members discounts at restaurants and events, stores as well as access to McFarland’s parties.

McFarland rents the sprawling apartment for $13,750 per month. Hundreds of guests would show up to these blowouts, the suit claims. [NYP] — Claire Moses
