This city offers the requisite experience for any tourist in Italy: gondola rides, frescoes and historical architecture. The only catch? This Venice is in China.

China built a knockoff of the northern Italian city that covers 4.3 million square feet in the city of Dalian. This fake Venice took four years to construct and cost $8 billion, according to Insider.
