A few months ago, Scott Shleifer assumed control of Tiger Global Management’s entire $10 billion public equity business. To celebrate, the money manager decided to treat himself to a new Park Avenue apartment.

Schleifer picked up an $18 million duplex co-op unit at 895 Park Avenue on the Upper East Side.

The three-bedroom, 4,500-square-foot unit features a English-style paneled library and three planting terraces.
