The unit to see the biggest price cut today is a three-bedroom,
three-bath co-op at 2 East 88th Street. The price of apartment number 5 was
cut by $1 million, and the home is now on the market for $11 million.
The price is 15 percent less than its original asking price
of $13 million in March 2006.
According to Streeteasy.com, the price of the home increased to $14
million in April 2006, and then suffered two price cuts. Sotheby’s
