A partnership of four New York-area real estate principals has acquired Winoker Realty, the commercial brokerage firm once helmed by David Winoker, who died in a skydiving accident last summer, the new company said today. The new leadership is made up of Ira Fishman and Dana Moskowitz, the respective president and executive vice president of ID Real Estate Partners, a New York City-based commercial real estate firm; and Nathan and Josh Halegua, the principals of Jonis Realty and Citi-Urban Management, which are based in Great Neck, N.Y. David Winoker, the real estate executive who died Friday in a skydiving accident in Ulster County, N.Y., grew his leasing agency business rapidly over the past year, picking up at least three new buildings. Winoker, 49, the president of the Midtown-based commercial real estate firm Winoker Realty, was awarded the leasing agency at the firm’s biggest building, the 382,269-square-foot 1450 Broadway, in June 2011. The husband and father of three also won the assignment for at least two other properties over the year, for a total of more than 500,000 square feet, a review of data from CoStar Group shows. [more]

David Winoker, the president of the Manhattan-based commercial brokerage firm Winoker Realty, was remembered yesterday as a loving husband and father at a Westchester County memorial service — held two days after Winoker was killed in a skydiving accident in Ulster County, N.Y. The 49-year-old real estate executive was part of a group that went skydiving for a friend’s 50th birthday party. He and his Skydive the Ranch instructor, 25-year-old Alexander Chulsky, fell to the ground from the plane near a farm after their shared parachute appeared to have malfunctioned.
