The unfinished office project adjacent to the High Line at 450 West
14th Street should be getting its curtain-wall glass in a few weeks,
the New York Post reported. The wall was slated to go up nearly three
months ago, but the Department of Buildings issued a partial stop-work
order for the site Aug. 3, due to the site’s lack of a sidewalk shed.
The order stopped any work above 40 feet. A shed will go up this week,
allowing work on the site to resume. Two of the 10 office floors in the
building have been leased to fashion brand Helmut Lang, and leases are
out on other floors, according to leasing agent Brian Waterman of
Newmark Knight Frank. [more]
