While comedian Joan Rivers’ $25 million duplex inside the Spencer Condominium at 1 East 62nd Street might be too pricey for some, those looking for a less expensive option inside the building are in luck, according to Curbed. A $6.2 million pad inside the building has hit the market, listed by Sotheby’s International Realty agent Kevin Brown. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo, unit 3AB, includes three fireplaces, central air conditioning and separate private storage. The building itself has a rich history of celebrity residents, beyond Rivers. Ernest Hemingway reportedly wrote “The Snows of Kilamanjaro” while living there. [Curbed] [more]
