Residential brokerage Miron Properties has opened its first Brooklyn office in Greenpoint, founder Jeffrey Schleider told The Real Deal today, in order to accommodate increasing demand for properties in the area. The office, which will house 10 agents, is located at 162 Huron Street at a former clothing store called Methods. The firm is subleasing the space from Methods owner Dave Gee, who is moving the clothing business online. Gee is also getting his real estate license and plans on working part time for Miron, Schleider said. [more]

Riding on the recent success of “Million Dollar Listing New York,” TV star and NestSeekers International broker Ryan Serhant has been tapped by his firm to head its newest office at 156 Reade Street in Tribeca, he told The Real Deal yesterday.
The 2,000-square-foot Tribeca storefront, NestSeekers’ 10th, will house 40 agents over two floors, Serhant said. The official Serhant team, which currently includes seven NestSeekers employees and is housed at 415 Madison Avenue, is slated to expand to 17 to occupy the space in the coming months, he said. The executive vice president is aggressively recruiting outside the firm. Other NestSeekers agents will relocate from other office to fill the remainder of the space. [more]

Last Wednesday, Bond New York held a party to celebrate the opening of
their new offices at 64 West 21st Street. The three-floor townhouse,
which features a deck area and backyard space, is the company’s sixth
Manhattan location and will house its new commercial sales and leasing
division. The celebrations included a tour of Bond’s new digs and
karaoke in the empty basement, which will eventually serve as a
