Nonni’s Food Corporation, best known for its biscotti, is reportedly in talks to buy the Stella D’Oro plant on West 237th Street in the Bronx, which is slated to close in October. Nonni’s Old London Foods already has a factory in the Bronx. The Stella employees’ union ended a deal for company owner Brynwood to sell the operation to Lance Foods, but sources told the New York Post the union may be more amenable to a deal with Nonni.
