HOW MUCH MONEY CAN I MAKE?

As with any sales career, your income is almost 100% in your hands. For that very reason, we give you all the tools and resources necessary to reach your full potential. We hire people who we feel have the personality attributes necessary for being what's known as a "Top Producer." Most real estate brokerage firms hire everyone who comes through the door, knowing that the strong will survive, and the weak will simply fall through the cracks. Our philosophy is very different. We are building a Team of Superstars and we firmly believe that proper training and support make all the difference.

A typical Blackstone Agent can expect to make anywhere from $100,000-$200,000 in their first year on the job. Our system is fast paced and requires a focused energy and firm commitment to the real estate profession. Our agents are above average in all aspects of their work ethic, and are compensated accordingly. New agents can make well over $150,000 in their first year if they work hard.

WHERE DO I GET LISTINGS?

Blackstone has established relationships with thousands of individual landlords and developers throughout Manhattan. You will have an in-house database consisting of over 10,000 apartments to show at all times. Listings managers are on staff updating listings regularly, making sure you have the most up-to-date information to work with.

WHO WILL TRAIN ME?

Blackstone Properties of NY can confidently say that their in-field training is the best in the industry. While most agents learn to be apartment-showers, we teach you advanced sales techniques and provide you with the research tools to become a Top Producer. Every agent will be in the hands of an experienced top-producing rental agent with years of experience. From your first phone conversation to your first lease signing, our managers at the firm will guide you through every step of the way.

WHAT ARE THE HOURS INVOLVED?

Blackstone is a Lifestyle. We expect our agents to work 80+ hours/week. In order to serve your clients well and become successful, you must put in the time and effort that is necessary. Our vision for the firm is creating the All-Star Team of real estate, where every agent is on the road to becoming a millionaire. Our top producers have gone on to open up seperate branches of Blackstone leading and managing big teams of agents.

WHY START IN LUXURY RENTALS?

It's the fastest way to break into the New York Real Estate market. The average rental commission on a luxury apartment is about $3500! Our firm purchases advertising from many different vendors in bulk. Passing on these savings to our agents gives them a steady stream of clients to work with. Furthermore, our firm has established a firm relationship with thousands of businesses in the U.S and abroad, making our list of clients vast and comprehensive. Our top producers are consistently closing more than 10 deals/month and we encourage everyone to work to their full potential.


HOW HARD IS IT TO GET A NEW YORK REAL ESTATE LICENSE?

It takes approximately 2 weeks to get your NY real estate sales agent license. There is a 75 hour class you are required to complete and two tests which you have to pass. Our firm will guide you on getting licensed.
