This is a great opportunity for highly-motivated and energetic professionals to prove their sales skills in a challenging market. Aggressive sales targets will be set by the developer, and meeting them will require creativity, persistence, and incredible people skills. The available positions are ideal for individuals who have experience selling subsidized housing in New York City, but this is not mandatory. A large portion of the job involves guiding buyers through the application and qualifying process (there are income requirements). The job involves selling condominiums and cooperative apartments in outer borough neighborhoods that have seen a surge of development activity in the last few years. However, these homes should by no means be considered an easy sell. Our sales managers will need to diligently research the area and become well-acquainted with the surrounding developments.

Responsibilities:

    1. Conduct professional presentations to prospective   purchasers 
    2. Generate detailed traffic and sales activity reports
    3. Show model homes and host open houses every weekend
    4. Learn rigorous buyer application and qualification process
    5. Guide purchasers through application process, making sure paperwork is completed correctly and all required documents are submitted
    6. Maintain regular communication and coordinate with agencies processing buyer applications
    7. Distribute marketing & sales materials, and conduct research at developer’s direction
    8. Oversee the day to day operations of the sales office 
    9. Follow-up on all sales leads and respond to all phone and email inquiries within 24 hours
    
Position Requirements:

    1. Must have New York State Real Estate Salesperson and/or Associate Broker License
    2. Must be highly motivated and is expected to work a five-day work week
    3. Must be able to multi-task and work under intense pressure on strict deadlines
    4. Must work weekends (with days off in the early week)
    5. Must have excellent communication and relationship management skills
    6. Must be reachable by email to prospective purchasers and the developer 7 days a week. Developer will provide Blackberry.
    7. Must be computer and internet literate and proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
    8. Must have at least two years of real estate on-site sales experience

Compensation: Base Salary + Commission
