Cirker Hayes is seeking an experienced Sales Executive to join its New York City team. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, experienced professional who can effectuate sales results.
Job Description
TITLE: Sales Executive
REPORTS TO: General Manager & Executive VP of Operations
DEPARTMENT: Sales & Marketing
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Negotiate the selling, leasing and marketing of rental space to affluent clients
· Negotiate the selling of specialty moving & packing services
· Position the company as the industry leader in high end art & wine storage
· Conduct cold calls, prospecting, and in-person meetings within NYC
· Negotiate lease renewals and increase services for existing customers
· “Upsell” current clients to utilize additional services or increase storage exposure
· Prepare lease contracts and participate in contract negotiations
· Provide prospects with all pertinent information to advance the sale
· Accompany prospective clients to storage sites to discuss features & close deals
· Work closely with the General Manager to collaboratively close leads
· Organize and hold onsite events such as wine tastings and/or art exhibits to drive traffic, generate awareness of products/services, and generate viral marketing
· Create maximum awareness of Cirker Hayes products & services
· Prepare routine sales reports for management including sales pipelines, forecasts, and activity metrics
· Establish sales goals, action items, and strategies to maximize asset value of the storage facilities & overall revenue
· Enforce exceptional customer service & confidentiality standards to affluent clients
· Drive self to achieve “difficult to achieve” results
· Facilitate customer retention & protection of existing business
· Interact with, coach, and mentor lead generation affiliate firm
· Collaborate with Marketing & PR team for collateral, materials, & campaigns
· Analyze and predict business trends using data mining
· Understand and evaluate customer needs
· Translate business strategies into clear objectives
· Collaborate with sales team; share successes & challenges
· Accumulate competitive market information, stay abreast of market conditions, review trade journals, & attend networking events
· Analyze and report on competition practices, rates, events, and potential concerns

QUALIFICATIONS:
· 3 to 5+ years of related experience and/or training
· Bachelors Degree required
· Intimate familiarity with New York City market required
· Commercial real estate salesperson experience a plus
· Familiarity with art, design, wine, restaurant industries a plus
· Storage experience a plus
· Intermediate MS Office Suite knowledge
