La Boucherie, a French-inspired steakhouse, will open on the top floor of the Wilshire Grand, the tallest tower in the Western U.S., when it’s completed in the spring of 2017, according to Eater.

The eatery, part of the InterContinental Hotel slated for the building, will likely be a competitor of 71Above, Vartan Abgaryan’s restaurant atop the US Bank Tower.

Other dining tenants coming to the tower include Stage, a marketplace that serves coffee, sushi and pizza, a cocktail bar known as Crystal and Sky Lobby Bar, another drinks venue.

The $1.2 billion Wilshire Grand Center, developed by Korean Area, is one of the area’s most hotly anticipated projects. A construction worker died last week after falling 53 stories from the tower, it was previously reported. [Eater] Katherine Clarke
