Los Feliz could be getting a new apartment complex.

Santa Monica firm Dynamic Development Company has filed plans with the city to build a mixed-used residential complex at the corner of Western and Franklin Avenues. The proposed development is a five-story building with 96 units, 16 of which would be set aside for low-income households.

The project, according to city filings, would also include more than 5,500 square feet of commercial space and a subterranean parking lot.

The project would be built on a .86 acre of land that spans five addresses. Part of the parcel is currently occupied by a Valero gas station.

Two buildings would be demolished to construct the multifamily building, including two housing units, Urbanize reported.

Nearby in Echo Park, Dynamic is developing a multi-family housing project at 1003 and 1013-1015 Everett Street in partnership with Weinstock Companies, according to its website.  — Cathaleen Chen
