An emergency assistance session for homeowners facing foreclosure or having mortgage troubles will be held tonight at 6 p.m. at the West Palm Beach City Center. The session will be held at the Commission Chambers at 401 Clematis Street. The Workforce Alliance, the Realtors Association of the Palm Beaches, and the Legal Aid Society’s Palm Beach County chapter are supporting the event, according to information the city issued Tuesday. In Palm Beach County, 2,652 homes entered some stage of foreclosure in July. That was down 24 percent from July 2008, as tracked by the research firm RealtyTrac.
