Palm Beach County single-family prices rise 20 percent: report

The median sales price of homes in Palm Beach County rose 19.6 percent in November compared to the same period in 2011, according to data from the Greater Fort Lauderdale Realtors. In the same time frame, townhomes and condos saw their median sales price rise by 11.2 percent.

Closed sales activity rose by 15.4 percent for single-family homes, and by 11.5 percent for townhomes and condos. Inventory of single-family and townhome-condos has dropped by more than 40 percent since last November. There are 4.7 percent months of inventory remaining of single-family homes, with 4.8 for townhome-condos. — Alexander Britell
