UPDATED 11:38 a.m. March 27, 2013: A Ramon Pacheco-designed home in Coral Gables’s Old Cutler Bay community has sold for $5.1 million — more than a million less than the original ask, Avatar Real Estate Services, which handled the sale, announced today.

The six bedroom, six-bathroom Mediterranean-style house listed for $6.5 million in 2011 and the selling agents were Nancy Barreto Hogan, Deborah Preston, Brittney Barreto and Laura Barreto, of Avatar Real Estate Services “A-Team.”

“This is a stunning estate that offers the best of South Florida living: an exquisite residence with top-of-the line amenities and finishes, a desirable 140’ waterfront lot with no bridges to bay and a fabulous, private community in the heart of Coral Gables,” Hogan said in a statement.   —Christopher Cameron
